Description:
• The chosen applicant will aid production by implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques into the production system. • Will prototype jigs, racks and fixtures for treadmill assembly and fabrication. Basic metal working skills are a must. May also utilize sensors, PLC programming and other electronic devices. • Must be comfortable reading engineering prints and using measuring instruments to compare parts to prints. • This job will also require documenting tools utilizing Solid Works drafting software. Other software used will be MS Word and Excel.

Requirements:
• Associates degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology. Equivalent manufacturing experience okay. Electronics assembly skills would be very helpful. • Training in the Toyota Production System or equivalent Lean Manufacturing Training preferred. • Must have experience working with steel (i.e. welding, machining and basic hand tools). • Some drafting experience preferred.
