Description:
Obtaining and maintaining FCC certifications for a wide variety of fitness equipment and components. Communicating potential issues in regard to FCC compliance and assisting with their resolution. Communication of potential safety/compliance issues and assisting with their resolution. EMC/EMI evaluation and troubleshooting. Responsible for in house EMC design verification and testing as well overseeing independent test lab qualification testing. Electronic and mechanical testing. Assisting with quarterly/yearly inspections from safety agencies. Responsible for training technicians in EMC test procedures. Responsible for reviewing all EMI test data. May perform some research and development for EMI/EMC design improvements. May need to generate EMI/EMC design guidelines.

Requirements:
BS in electrical engineering. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to read and comprehend technical standards, drawings and documents. Experience with Energy Star, CEC, RoHS/WEEE. A minimum of three years performing electromagnetic compatibility certification testing to FCC 47CFR Part 15 using ANSI C63.4, CISPR 22, CISPR 24 and other worldwide standards.
