Description:
Responsibilities include conferring with oversea vendors to obtain product information such as availability and delivery schedule. Prepare purchase orders, release schedules for vendors based upon customers needs, plan alternative sources, part shortages and verify shipment arrivals, coordinate production schedule costing with Asian vendors on a daily basis, works directly with receiving, accounting, quality control, vendors and shipping, other individual responsibilities, some foreign travel.

Requirements:
Hard-working, meticulous and enthusiastic person. Highly organized, detail oriented and must be able to perform well under stress and in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivation and the ability to work well with little supervision is a must. Must have good IT skills, Word, Excel, email and Web browsers. A good understanding of manufacturing, product flow, and its relation to purchasing and supply chain process are essential. BS in related field (busines, production management) required. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, email and Internet. Native speaking Mandarin Chinese speaking with fluent English writing and speaking capabilities. One year OPT.
