Description:
Perform massage therapy techniques to control pain, reduce stress and promote relaxation. Obtain the basic medical history for a client, assess any problems or conditions, and suggest appropriate massage techniques based on current health of client. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the massage therapy field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Work under general supervision.

Requirements:
Requires certification as a licensed massage therapist. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Perform seated massage for employees at ICON in the fitness center, at employee desks or offices, in break rooms or lunchrooms. Teach employees proper body mechanics. Teach employees proper exercise and nutrition needs. Conduct employee educational seminars on health and wellness topics. Track reduction in medical costs and increased productivity and reduced absenteeism associated with clients. Other duties may be assigned.
